At the airport and first few days home

Image
Well when we got to the airport it said on the door that only those with a boarding pass could enter.  SO we waited outside and watched through the window for him to come in through the doors.  Every time the door opened we were like is that him?  Then we finally see this tall blonde boy walk through.  We held up the sign outside the window and were yelling and cheering outside.  I could see that he was looking around wondering where we were.  SO I just went inside the door yelled across the airport and said "We are just outside because we can't come in."  When the officer heard me yell that and saw us all crazy outside he came out and told us we could come in.  So we went into the airport I ran and gave him a hug but he still had to go through all the covid testing.  So we watched him walk through lines and then go get his test.  So then he started to walk towards us.  So I went and walked up to him.  When I got to him he picked me up and carried me the rest of the way

Final Week in Taiwan

Image
Cole had a amazing last week in taiwan.  He visited with a lot of friends and went to a amusement park with lawrence.  He went to the temple and went up on the roof. He had a fun last time with Elder LAL and then he went and stayed at the mission home for his last night.  It was a busy but good week.

This last Sunday I gave my final speech to the Yilan/Luodong ward and Sang ”O qo Na noqu masu” in the RC fireside in Taipei. Sunday night we stayed at Elder Lals apartment in Xizhi and played mazhang. For Pday we went on a hike with some old friends we met in the MTC. Monday night we also went to a members house to help him remove the cardboard from his ceiling. Tuesday we went and played basketball with a few of our investigators. Wednesday we went to find a referral that lived really far away. When we got there we taught him the Plan of Salvation and next time the members are going to come with us to meet him. On the way home we bought some pomelos and that's what my companions eating in one of the pictures. Thursday we went to my RCs best friends noodle shop and they treated us to some dry noodles and braised pork rice. Friday the sky was a reddish orange colour so we went to the attic of the chapel to take some pictures. Saturday a taiphoon came to Taiwan, but it just rained.

Elder McDonald did not have a lot of time to talk to us this week.  He was going on a hike with elder lal and his companion.  They went with a few of the other kids that were in the MTC with him so that is nice. He said that they had lots planned for the day.  Looks like they went to a restrant with lots of yummy food.  He also sent videos of him dunking. Glad he got a b ball in before he left.  Can't believe he will be home so soon.  So exciting!
